Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the game مين الكذّاب (Meen Al-Khaddhab) (the "App"), provided by Simplicity Apps (the "Developer", "we", "us"), handles your information. By using the App you agree to this policy. You can contact us anytime at simplicityapps@outlook.com.

Information we collect

• Account identifier. When you open the App you are signed in as an anonymous guest with a random identifier. You may optionally upgrade to Sign in with Apple, which gives us a stable, Apple-provided user identifier. We request your name only; we do not collect your email address.
• Profile data. Your chosen display name, optional unique handle, and selected avatar.
• Gameplay data. In-game chat messages, clues, votes, round results, and your competitive rating, points, and statistics.
• Friends. If you add friends, we store your friends list and pending friend requests.
• Diagnostics & usage. Through Google Firebase, we may collect basic app usage and diagnostic data to keep the App working and to detect abuse.
• Advertising data. Our advertising partner Unity Ads receives device information (such as device model, operating system, IP address and, only with your permission, the advertising identifier IDFA) and information about the ads you see and tap. See Advertising below.
• Purchases. Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple. We receive only a confirmation of what you own; we never see your payment details.

We do not sell your data. Ads are the only purpose for which data may be used to track you across apps, and only if you allow it in the system prompt.

How we use your information

• To run the real-time multiplayer game (rooms, roles, chat, voting, results).
• To maintain your profile, competitive rating, leaderboards, and friends.
• To moderate the service (profanity filtering, reporting, and blocking).
• To operate, secure, and improve the App.

What is visible to others

Because this is a multiplayer game with leaderboards, the following are visible to other players: your display name, handle, avatar, in-game chat, and competitive rating/points — and, if you enable voice, your live voice and its text transcript. Please don't share personal or sensitive information in chat or on voice.

Voice chat

The discussion phase offers an optional voice feature. If you enable it:

• Live audio. In multiplayer games your voice is transmitted live to the other players in your room through our real-time communication provider Agora. Audio is relayed only for the duration of the call and is never recorded or stored by us.
• On-device transcription. Your speech is converted to text entirely on your device using Apple's speech recognition; the audio used for transcription never leaves your phone. The resulting text is posted as ordinary in-game chat messages, visible to the players in your room and handled like any other chat message.
• Your control. Voice is off unless you turn it on, you can mute or stop it at any moment, and it ends automatically when the discussion ends.

Advertising

The App is free and supported by ads served by Unity Ads (Unity Technologies). You may see:

• Banner ads on the home, results, lobby and matchmaking screens.
• An occasional full-screen ad after you finish a game, never during a round.
• Rewarded videos you choose to watch in exchange for a bonus (for example doubling the points of a game, or trying a character pack for 24 hours). These never play automatically.

Tracking permission. On first launch, iOS asks whether the App may track you. If you allow it, Unity Ads may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to show ads that are more relevant to you and to measure ad performance. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalised and the identifier is not shared. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

What Unity receives. Device model, operating system version, language, IP address, approximate (country-level) location derived from it, the advertising identifier if permitted, and which ads were shown, viewed or tapped. Unity Ads processes this data as described in the Unity Privacy Policy. We configure the App as a general-audience app that is not directed to children.

Removing ads. A one-time Remove Ads purchase removes banner and full-screen ads permanently. Rewarded videos remain available because they only play when you ask for them. Purchases are made through Apple and can be restored from Settings → Purchases → Restore Purchases.

Fair play. When you watch a rewarded video to double your points, our server verifies the reward with Unity using an anonymous one-time code. No personal information is exchanged in that check.

Service providers

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, App Check, Remote Config and Analytics) to host and operate the App, Apple Sign in with Apple for optional account login, Apple's App Store for in-app purchases, Agora to relay optional real-time voice chat, and Unity Ads to serve advertising. Your data is processed by these providers under their own privacy terms (Firebase, Apple, Agora, Unity).

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the App: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your profile, rating, statistics, friends, and sign-in. You may also email us to request deletion.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. Because it includes unmoderated user-generated chat, it is rated for older audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and our advertising partner is configured to treat the App as not directed to children.

Security

We apply reasonable technical measures (encrypted transport, server-side access rules) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
