Scamper — Privacy Policy

What stays on your device
- Your routes. The GPS trace of every walk and run is stored only on your iPhone (and your Apple Watch for standalone runs). It is never uploaded, ever.
- Catch locations. Where you caught an animal is saved on a coarse (~100 m) grid, on device only, so your pack can show its memories without recording your exact position.
- Your pack and dex. Caught animals, their names, and your collection live in the app's local database.
- Steps and motion. Pedometer and motion-activity data are used on device to count steps and keep scoring honest.
Apple Health
With your permission, Scamper saves finished sessions to Apple Health as workouts and reads your heart rate during sessions when it is available. Health data never leaves your device except into your own Apple Health store, and it is never used for marketing or shared with anyone. You can revoke access at any time in Settings → Health.
What syncs to our servers, and why
Weekly leagues need a scoreboard. If you sign in (Sign in with Apple, always optional — every part of the game works without it), we store on Google Firebase:
- a random account identifier (your Firebase user ID),
- the display name you choose — the only thing other runners ever see about you,
- per-session aggregates: distance, duration, and points.
No routes, no coordinates, no health data — aggregates only.
Purchases
The optional Scamper Plus subscription is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details; the app only checks whether a subscription is active.
Game Center
If you use Game Center, achievements are reported to Apple's Game Center under Apple's own privacy policy.
Diagnostics
We use Firebase to collect basic, aggregated usage and crash diagnostics so we can keep the app working well. This data is not used for advertising and is not shared with data brokers.
What we never do
- No advertising, no ad networks, no ad identifiers.
- No tracking across apps or websites (App Tracking Transparency is not needed because we never track).
- No selling or renting data — to anyone, for any reason.
- No use of Health data for marketing, ever.
Deleting your data
- Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device.
- Signing out (Settings tab) stops all syncing.
- To delete your league account and its aggregates from our servers, contact us (below) and we will remove them.
Children
Scamper is made for everyone and collects the same minimal data regardless of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described here, and no data is ever used for advertising.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.

ما يبقى على جهازك
- مساراتك. مسار GPS لكل جولة مشي أو جري يُخزَّن على iPhone فقط (وعلى Apple Watch للجولات المستقلة)، ولا يُرفع أبدًا.
- أماكن الإمساك. مكان إمساكك بالحيوان يُحفظ على شبكة تقريبية (~١٠٠ متر) وعلى الجهاز فقط، ليعرض قطيعك ذكرياته دون تسجيل موقعك الدقيق.
- قطيعك ودليلك. الحيوانات التي أمسكت بها وأسماؤها ومجموعتك تعيش في قاعدة بيانات التطبيق المحلية.
- الخطوات والحركة. بيانات عدّاد الخطى ونشاط الحركة تُستخدم على الجهاز لعدّ الخطوات والحفاظ على نزاهة النقاط.
تطبيق "صحتي"
بإذنك، يحفظ «سكامبر» الجلسات المكتملة كتمارين في تطبيق "صحتي"، ويقرأ معدل نبضات قلبك أثناء الجلسات عند توفره. بيانات الصحة لا تغادر جهازك إلا إلى مخزن "صحتي" الخاص بك، ولا تُستخدم للتسويق ولا تُشارك مع أحد. يمكنك سحب الإذن في أي وقت من الإعدادات ← الصحة.
ما يُزامَن مع خوادمنا، ولماذا
الدوريات الأسبوعية تحتاج إلى لوحة ترتيب. إذا سجّلت الدخول (عبر «تسجيل الدخول بواسطة Apple»، وهو اختياري دائمًا — كل أجزاء اللعبة تعمل من دونه)، نخزّن على Google Firebase:
- معرّف حساب عشوائي (معرّف مستخدم Firebase)،
- اسم العرض الذي تختاره — وهو الشيء الوحيد الذي يراه عنك العدّاؤون الآخرون،
- إجماليات كل جلسة: المسافة والمدة والنقاط.
لا مسارات ولا إحداثيات ولا بيانات صحية — إجماليات فقط.
المشتريات
اشتراك «سكامبر بلس» الاختياري تعالجه Apple بالكامل. لا نرى تفاصيل الدفع أبدًا؛ التطبيق يتحقق فقط مما إذا كان الاشتراك مفعّلًا.
Game Center
إذا استخدمت Game Center، تُرفع الإنجازات إلى Game Center من Apple وفق سياسة خصوصية Apple نفسها.
التشخيصات
نستخدم Firebase لجمع بيانات استخدام وتشخيصات أعطال أساسية ومجمّعة لإبقاء التطبيق يعمل جيدًا. لا تُستخدم هذه البيانات للإعلانات ولا تُشارك مع وسطاء البيانات.
ما لا نفعله أبدًا
- لا إعلانات ولا شبكات إعلانية ولا معرّفات إعلانية.
- لا تتبّع عبر التطبيقات أو المواقع.
- لا بيع للبيانات ولا تأجيرها — لأي جهة ولأي سبب.
- لا استخدام لبيانات الصحة في التسويق، أبدًا.
حذف بياناتك
- حذف التطبيق يزيل كل ما هو مخزَّن على جهازك.
- تسجيل الخروج (تبويب الإعدادات) يوقف كل المزامنة.
- لحذف حساب الدوري وإجمالياته من خوادمنا، تواصل معنا (أدناه) وسنزيلها.
الأطفال
«سكامبر» مصنوع للجميع ويجمع الحد الأدنى نفسه من البيانات بغضّ النظر عن العمر. لا نجمع عن قصد معلومات شخصية من الأطفال تتجاوز ما هو موصوف هنا، ولا تُستخدم أي بيانات للإعلانات أبدًا.
التغييرات
إذا تغيّرت هذه السياسة، تُنشر النسخة الجديدة على هذا العنوان نفسه مع تاريخ سريان محدّث.
